Different types of flamenco albums exist: most standard are albums with
a singer in the main role, accompanied by one or more guitarists. Also
very common are guitar solo albums, sometimes these include some singing,
either one or two pieces dedicated to the cante, or cante is used as an
instrument, for instance in the intro of a piece.
All of these can also be either extremely modern, modern, contemporary,
traditional, or fusion orientated.
Especially for those not to familiar with flamenco, who want to know
what albums to get, this list can serve as a reference of what is "real"
or "good" flamenco. Well, I think so anyway...
I like all of these albums, but some I can especialy recommend, these
are marked with
